The seemingly never-ending implication that Kevin Love would fit with the Trail Blazers continued on Friday. During an episode of ESPN’s The Jump, Rachel Nichols led a discussion centered around where the Cavaliers big man could end up via the trade market.
Retired forward Richard Jefferson pointed to the Rockets while Nichols mentioned the Blazers. Nichols also pointed to Love’s large contract as a roadblock for potential suitors.
Jefferson, in response to Nichols, explained that Love’s deal would be a bargain for teams looking to make a leap to contender status.
Love is set to make $28.9 million this season and is under contract through 2022-23. He is currently averaging 18.5 points and 14.1 rebounds per game.
