The G League’s regular season schedule got underway on Friday, setting the stage for the Trail Blazers two-way contract players to make their debut for the Texas Legends. Off the bench, Jaylen Hoard and Moses Brown combined for 37 minutes of action during the Legends’ 105-95 loss to the Memphis Hustle.
Hoard, a versatile forward out of Wake Forest, led the way with 14 points and nine rebounds. Brown, a 7-foot center out of UCLA, recorded six points and six rebounds.
Stat lines aside, it was Brown that created a highlight-worthy moment with his rim protection.
