ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Collins will get an MRI on his shoulder tomorrow. He called it a “dislocation”, but it’s unknown if that’s based on an early medical diagnosis.
Trail Blazers big man Zach Collins exited Sunday’s matchup against the Mavericks at the two-minute mark in the third quarter. After tussling for a rebound, Collins emerged holding his left shoulder.

Trying to find out exactly how Collins injured the shoulder and it doesn’t appear that it got caught or yanked- so hopefully it’s not too bad. pic.twitter.com/Y1TfKDRUsa

Prior to exiting, Collins recorded 10 points and three rebounds in 24 minutes of action. The former Gonzaga standout has been featured in the starting lineup in the first three games of the 2019-20 season.
Blazers digital reporter Casey Holdahl updated Collins’ status shortly after the injury occurred.

The Blazers have a quick turnaround with a game against the Spurs on Monday.
Update:
Collins has been ruled out of the Spurs game.
Zach Collins just said the Blazers training staff was able to pop his shoulder back in pretty “cleanly.” He said he is already ruled out for tomorrow’s game vs. Spurs, but the shoulder feels pretty good
