With the NBA season officially underway, the focus on this week’s episode of Blazer’s Edge Radio turned to playoff predictions. Hosts Ryne Buchanan and Sam Arnold made their picks for all sixteen postseason seeds.

While the Golden State Warriors have made five consecutive NBA Finals appearances, the Western Conference looks to be up for grabs this season, with no clear-cut favorite. Meanwhile, in a top-heavy Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks will look to stave off the likes of the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics in an effort to make their first Finals trip since 1974.

Here’s what the guys came up with:

The absence of Jusuf Nurkic for at least the first half of the regular season is the main reason for the Portland Trail Blazers dropping a spot from where they finished a season ago, but the guys remain optimistic about the team’s chances in the playoffs with a healthy Nurkic.
