The Portland Trail Blazers will finish sixth in the NBA Western Conference in 2019-20 according to Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports. The long-time radio personality, who once graced the local airwaves in Portland, has the Blazers behind the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz, as well as the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Golden State Warriors.
Cowherd made his claim on his daily radio show, with the clip rebroadcast on Twitter.
The Houston Rockets will miss the playoffs this season. @ColinCowherd explains why and reveals his Western Conference playoff picture:

Of the Blazers, Cowherd says:
Dark horse team to win the West is Portland. Here’s why. They have [Hassan] Whiteside from Miami. That’s an expiring contract. Watch Portland at the All-Star...the trading deadline. They don’t need [Jusuf] Nurkic and Whiteside. They’ll move that contract and go get a Kevin Love. So they have great guards and great bigs. They need someone in between. Keep your eye on Portland making a big trade at the trade deadline because they have two centers. They don’t need both.
