Former Trail Blazers free agent target Chandler Parsons is looking to resolve his status with the Memphis Grizzlies. The oft-injured forward is now healthy, but it appears that Memphis is fine with having him remain away from the team. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Parsons and the Grizzlies are attempting to negotiate a path forward for both parties.
Grizzlies owe Parsons $38M, including his $25.1M guaranteed salary for 2019-20. He's in third season of a four-year, $94M contract. Details surrounding separation soon on https://t.co/XcwLHcsHad. https://t.co/aiJWdmlB6C

In the summer of 2016, the Blazers were among the teams vying to sign Parsons to a long-term contract. Since signing with the Grizzlies prior to the 2016-17 season, Parsons has appeared in 73 regular season games.
