What Position Should the Blazers Upgrade at the Trade Deadline?

Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report wonders if Portland can upgrade on the wing at the deadline.

The NBA trade deadline is swiftly approaching and the Portland Trail Blazers have been mentioned in several rumors. History suggests that the franchise makes a move before the deadline, but a strategic one solving financial problems — not the blockbuster move to acquire a guy like Anthony Davis.

Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley sees the trade deadline as an opportunity for Portland to acquire an impact wing. Buckley tosses out Taurean Prince and Otto Porter Jr. as potential upgrades on the Blazers’ current wing duo of Al-Farouq Aminu and Moe Harkless:

The Blazers don’t have the trade capital to snag a star (sorry, AD dreamers!), but putting their first-round pick in play might deliver a sizable upgrade on the wing. Taurean Prince has a better combination of shooting, defending and creating than any you’ll find in Rip City, and Otto Porter Jr. could prove the perfect complementary piece for his marksmanship, defensive versatility and off-ball activity.

Robert Flom here at Blazer’s Edge recently listed Prince as one of five underrated targets for the Blazers at the deadline.

What position would you like to see upgraded at the deadline? What potential targets do you see as upgrades at that position? Let us know in the comments.
