Damian Lillard will represent the Portland Trail Blazers at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game as a reserve, it was announced on TNT. It will be Lillard’s fourth All-Star Game appearance in his career (he was an injury replacement in 2015 for Blake Griffin).

Lillard is averaging 26.4 points, 6.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game in yet another stellar season. The star has impressed with his offense, for sure, but he’s also made efforts on defense and can regularly be seen setting the tempo for the team by diving for loose balls and the like.
All-Star reserves were selected by the coaches of each respective conference. Now, we wait for Feb. 7, when the All-Star Draft will be held on TNT and we’ll find out which team Lillard is on. Lakers star LeBron James and Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will serve as All-Star captains and draft from the pool of All-Star starters and reserves.
The NBA All-Star Game is Sunday, Feb. 17 in Charlotte and will be broadcast on TNT. Lillard will also reportedly compete in the 3-Point Contest on Feb. 16 (also on TNT) along with Blazers teammate Seth Curry.
