On Monday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis had officially requested a trade. Naturally, along with the flurry of trade machine ideas and discussion on Twitter about who is/isn’t worth giving up, betting odds have been posted on Davis’ next team. BetDSI listed the Portland Trail Blazers as +1000 to land the big man:
BetDSI gives the Blazers the sixth-best odds to land Davis before the NBA Trade Deadline and seventh-best odds to land him before Oct. 1. However, other sports betting sites don’t even have the Blazers listed. For example, BetOnline and Bovada do not list Portland as a potential destination for Davis:

As Dave Deckard pointed out yesterday, it most likely isn’t possible for the Blazers to pull off a trade for Davis, but it might be an avenue worth investigating anyways.
