Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry has been selected for the NBA’s Three-Point Contest on All-Star Saturday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.

Curry is currently shooting 48% from three-point range this season, second in the NBA behind Davis Bertans of the San Antonio Spurs.

The contest will have special meaning for Seth, as it is being played in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. And he may have a family member to compete against.

Seth’s brother, former MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, has also been invited to participate again. A five-time three-point contest participant, Stephen won the 2015 edition. Seth and Stephen’s father Dell Curry was also a two-time participant, representing the Charlotte Hornets in the 1991-1992 and 1993-1994 seasons.

The last Trail Blazer to participate in the contest was CJ McCollum in the 2016-2017 season. McCollum was eliminated in the first round.

Last year the contest was won by Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. The contest will be held February 16th, 2019.
