Gary Payton II, who spent training camp with the Trail Blazers, intends to sign a 10-day contract with the Wizards. The former Oregon State guard has bounced around the NBA in recent years, and it appears that he will get another shot at sticking in the league with the Wizards.

Payton has yet to appear in a regular season game this season. Last year, he played in 23 games between stops with the Bucks and Lakers. The former Beavers standout has career averages of 3.1 points, 1.2 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per game.
