Early Thursday afternoon it was announced that Caleb Swanigan would be recalled from the G-League. Joe Freeman of The Oregonian was first with the news.
Blazers announce that Caleb Swanigan has been recalled from the G-League and will rejoin the team. He averaged 8.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in four games with the Texas Legends.

Swanigan played 4 games for the Texas Legends, starting one, where he averaged 22.6 minutes per night shooting 50 percent from the field (28.6 percent from 3) while posting 8.5 points and 7 rebounds.
By bringing Swanigan back to the Blazers that means either Anfernee Simons or Gary Trent will be back wearing street clothes when Maurice Harkless is back to active status (barring any other movements).
