Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard continues to write his name in the Blazers’ history books. Lillard hit two major career milestones with his 35 points in an emotional loss to the Sacramento Kings on Monday.
First, Lillard set the franchise record for consecutive games with 10+ points, surpassing Clyde Drexler’s mark of 183 straight games.
Second, Lillard passed the 12,000-point milestone during the game; he is currently third on the Blazers’ all-time scoring leaderboard with 12,012 points after passing Terry Porter earlier this season. LaMarcus Aldridge is second in all-time scoring with 12,562 points.
Portland next takes the court Wednesday at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
