Trail Blazers Center Jusuf Nurkic Makes History vs. Kings

Portland’s pivot posts a stat line that’s never been seen in the history of the NBA.

NBA: Portland Trail Blazers at Sacramento Kings Sergio Estrada-USA TODAY Sports

Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic accomplished a feat never before seen in the NBA during Portland’s overtime victory versus the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. According to basketball-reference’s game finder, nobody in the history of the league has ever posted a game with 20 points and 20 rebounds, with five or more assists, steals, and blocks.

It’s worth noting that blocks and steals were not recorded as official stats before 1973. Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell may have duplicated this feat and we’d not know of it, but quibbles aside, Nurkic just posted one of the most complete stat lines ever recorded.
