Seth Curry signed in NBA Free Agency with the Portland Trail Blazers despite missing the entire 2017-18 season with a fractured tibia. His rehab from the injury was a key part of his introductory press conference, saying all that was left was getting back into game shape after making a full recovery. Curry revealed some insight into the offseason work he’s putting in with USA Today:
I know in the offseason it’s a long game, you don’t wanna burn yourself out early in the summer getting ready to play; you want to slowly work yourself up to game shape.
Seth also talked about his two-time NBA MVP brother Steph Curry being a perfect example to follow for season preparation:
Being able to watch Steph prepare his game, his body for the season has allowed me to take some of the stuff he does and apply it to myself.
