The Phoenix Suns are trying to trade for a “front tier” point guard and have Damian Lillard on their list, according to Phoenix radio host John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7. According to a recent tweet from Gambadoro, so far the interest has been one-sided.
Suns have definitely been trying to trade for a front tier point guard - Lillard, Walker, Rozier - but to no avail. Situation at point guard now is not ideal and Phoenix will have to make a trade but Milwaukee pick that they own is not that valuable.

There’s no indication that the Portland Trail Blazers are in any way interested, or that any amount of Suns players could entice them to part with their First-Team All-NBA point guard.
The Suns recently made news by trading guard Brandon Knight to the Houston Rockets for forward Ryan Anderson. Today Danny Chau of The Ringer suggested CJ McCollum might be an attainable trade candidate for them, completing the set of starting-guards-to-Phoenix rumors for the Blazers.
