Highkin: Former Trail Blazers Should Join Big3 League

Which former Trail Blazers would light up the BIG3 circuit?

Rapper Ice Cube’s BIG3 3-on-3 basketball league has drawn a large contingent of former NBA players since its inception in 2017. Former Portland Trail Blazers such as Qyntel Woods, Jermaine O’Neal, and Bonzi Wells have found moderate success.

The league tried to move to new heights by luring Kobe Bryant to try his luck, but was denied. Sean Highkin of Bleacher Report theorized some other players who should put their 3-on-3 skills to the test.

Arguing that his fondness for rap music and a strong inside and outside game, Highkin suggests former Portland star Rasheed Wallace would be a perfect choice.

Sheed is such a perfect BIG3 player that it’s genuinely shocking he hasn’t made an appearance in the league. The cantankerous but fun-loving personality is there, and his ability to play in the paint and on the perimeter should make it easy to build a roster around him.

Other former Blazers on the list include Andre Miller and Jamal Crawford.

The BIG3 league will play its championship game today.
