The Blazers earned the two-seed and a bye as determined by tiebreakers. They will face the winner of Wednesday’s matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and Indiana Pacers. The game will be at 7:30 p.m. PT on Thursday and will be televised on ESPN2.
Last year’s Summer League team lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Summer League Championship after going only 1-2 in pre-tournament play. The Lakers earned the one-seed in this year’s tournament. They have a Round 1 bye in the other bracket, setting up a potential repeat of last year’s Championship game.
Summer League play concludes Tuesday, July 17. The full schedule can be viewed here.
