CJ McCollum Takes on Jordan vs. LeBron on “Last Table”

Who’s the greatest of all time? The debate rages on.

Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum continues to make inroads into the world of sports media. McCollum appeared on “Last Table” with Jemelle Hill, Ebro Darden, NFL receiver Victor Cruz, and Rachel Demita to discuss the eternal “LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan” for Greatest of All Time debate.

McCollum acquitted himself well, mostly by calling out sketchy assertions from his co-conspirators. In the space of five minutes the table managed to dismiss the career of Scottie Pippen, forget Jordan’s year spent playing de facto point guard while averaging 8 assists per game, and dis the city of Portland as, “Not L.A.” But McCollum did get in a couple jabs of his own. When asked the GOAT question, he responded, “I think it’s unfair to compare them and I think it should be 1a and 1b until the other one retires.” Queried about LeBron winning another ring before he retires, CJ quipped, “When he comes to Portland, I definitely think it could happen.”
