Prunty took over as the interim head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks in January after Jason Kidd’s firing. He guided the team to the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference, where they lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Boston Celtics in seven games. He recently interviewed for the Bucks head coaching job, but Mike Budenholzer was ultimately hired to the position.
Prunty was an assistant coach in Portland from 2008-10. He started as an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs in 2002.
