Portland Trail Blazers fans have known all about Damian Lillard’s clutch heroics for years, but now the National Basketball Players Association is recognizing Lillard Time.
The NBPA announced that Lillard was the recipient of this year’s “Mr. Clutch” award:

In 2017-18, Lillard played the 23rd most minutes (151) during the final five minutes of a game with the score differential being five points or less, yet scored the 10th most points (127) in that scenario. During the regular season, Lillard averaged 26.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.6 assists, as he led the Blazers to 49 wins and the third seed in the Western Conference.
