With the San Antonio Spurs weighing a Kawhi Leonard trade, attention has turned to the team’s leader this season while Leonard was out, LaMarcus Aldridge. Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News says “I know for a fact” the Portland Trail Blazers would welcome back Aldridge if the star wanted a trade:
I’ve thought of this... and if they trade Kawhi, I..and I said I, as in me... think they should approach Aldridge to see if he wants to be traded. It’s only fair...even if he says no. I know for a fact, #Blazers would welcome him back... https://t.co/3tKqOv65lz

Aldridge played nine seasons with the Blazers before leaving for the Spurs in the summer of 2015. He had documented struggles coexisting with the team’s current star, Damian Lillard.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports several teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics, have engaged in trade talks with the Spurs over Kawhi.
