Sad news for a former Trail Blazers player this morning as Roger Randolph, brother of Zach Randolph, was killed in a shooting in Marion, Indiana, the brothers’ hometown. WTHR in Marion reported that the incident occurred shortly before 5:00 am, Central time.
Investigators have not released any information on what led to the shooting, but they said they believe this was not a random act and that the general public is not in danger.
An officer nearby heard the shots fired and arrived to find Randolph lying between two cars in the parking lot.

Zach played for the Blazers between from 2001-2007. He currently plays for the Sacramento Kings.
