ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Philadelphia 76ers have offered head coach Brett Brown a three-year contract extension:

Since Brown had one year remaining on his previous deal, this contract extension will see him signed through the 2021-22 season. Brown has been the coach in Philadelphia since the 2013-14 season, where he has compiled a 127-283 record in his four years there.

But with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid staying healthy and playing together for the first time, the 76ers won 16 straight games to close the regular season, where they finished with a 52-30 record. Although the 76ers lost in the second round to the Boston Celtics, the team has young talent, ample cap space, and the 10th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft next month.
