Boise State wing Chandler Hutchison pulled out of the 2018 NBA Draft combine yesterday, leading to rampant speculation that he had secured a guarantee from a team drafting between the 20th and 30th positions, removing the need for him to work out in Chicago. The Portland Trail Blazers will select 24th in the draft and Hutchison has backdoor connections to All-Star guard Damian Lillard. Despite that, NBCSports Northwest reporter Jason Quick tweets that the Blazers are not the suitors waiting for Hutchison to arrive.
