The NBA Draft Combine is underway and 2018 NBA Draft discussion is starting to get into full swing. The Portland Trail Blazers hold the 24th selection in the upcoming draft. This precludes them from meeting with the upper echelon elite of the 2018 class, but Jason Quick of NBCSports Northwest has tweeted that they plan to meet with a significant list of players, either at the combine or in the intervening weeks before draft night.

Shamet, a 6’4 guard, averaged 14.9 points, 5.2 assists, and 3.2 rebounds for the Shockers this season on 48.9% shooting from the field, 44.2% from the floor.
