The Trail Blazers have listed guard Evan Turner (toe contusion) as questionable for Game 3 against the Pelicans on Thursday. He left Game 2 after receiving an inadvertent kick from Pelicans forward E’Twaun Moore while pursuing a loose ball, though he initially continued playing.
“I’m not a doctor, I just know the [expletive] hurts,” Turner told reporters after the game.
Turner left the arena in sandals because his toe was bothering him, Jason Quick of NBC Sports Northwest reports.
After a 13-point effort in Game 1, Turner was scoreless through 20 minutes of action in Game 2, shooting 0-6 from the field before exiting. His departure resulted in more court time for Maurice Harkless, who played 27 minutes in his return from left knee surgery.
