The start of the NBA Playoffs has been rough for both the Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard, but that was well after Portland’s leading man turned in a memorable 2017-18 campaign. Thanks to his work on and off the court, Lillard has become one of the most recognizable faces in today’s NBA. According to the jersey sales numbers for the NBA Store, the popularity of Lillard’s “Letter O” solidifies his popularity.
USA Today Sports’ Jeff Zillgitt shared the regular season jersey sales numbers on Tuesday, with Lillard placing No. 13:

Lillard’s placement on the list doesn’t come as a surprise, as his cultural impact goes beyond the basketball court. The Oakland native has one of the most popular basketball shoes on the market, and he continues to show that he has legitimate musical chops.
On the court, Lillard returned to the spotlight by ending his two-year All-Star hiatus with a 21-point performance in the NBA’s star-studded showcase earlier this year. Along with his All-Star bid, the former Weber State star entered the MVP conversation in the second half of the season as a result of his impressive play.
