Now, the big man is headed to ASVEL in France, according to multiple reports. ASVEL’s majority owner is San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker, and ex-Blazer Nicolas Batum became a shareholder of the club and its director of basketball operations last year.
Alexander’s climb back to the NBA was detailed by The Athletic earlier this month with the forward admitting he’d pursue an overseas career to provide for his family if another NBA opportunity didn’t come his way.
His G League team, the Wisconsin Herd, just finished out their season Friday, and it looks like he’s off on a new endeavor.
