The Portland Trail Blazers could potentially be down two key contributors Friday versus the Boston Celtics as Jusuf Nurkic (questionable) and Evan Turner (probable) are both dealing with low back soreness, the Blazers announced Thursday.
In Tuesday night’s game against the Houston Rockets, Nurkic had one of his best outings of the season with 21 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks, while Turner added 10 points, three rebounds and three assists off the bench.
The Celtics meanwhile will be without Kyrie Irving (knee soreness), Jaylen Brown (concussion protocol), Marcus Smart (thumb surgery), Daniel Theis (knee surgery) and Gordon Hayward (left ankle rehab).
