The defending NBA Champion Warriors are currently in second place in the Western Conference, two games behind the Rockets and ten games ahead of the Blazers. They have lost their last two games, against Portland and Minnesota.
Other Injury News
The San Antonio Spurs may be without Kawhi Leonard for a while longer. Despite reports that they targeted a Thursday return for the All-Star, Charania reported that he will not be ready.
Leonard’s absence, combined with a short-term injury to LaMarcus Aldridge, caused a precipitous fall from the high seed the Spurs had occupied much of the season. They’re currently in ninth place.
