The 2018 NBA Trade Deadline is less than a week away and the plans for Portland Trail Blazers mid-season moves remain indeterminate. Michael Scotto of The Athletic published a rundown of trade possibilities for all 30 NBA teams, including Portland. (Subscription required.) Though his article mentions much bigger fish—Kemba Walker, Dwight Howard, DeAndre Jordan, Robin Lopez, and Julius Randle, to name a few—the Trail Blazers section includes a smaller, but critical, name:

The Trail Blazers are looking to make a splash and find a third star to pair with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. Portland has kept tabs on DeAndre Jordan and is also trying to upgrade at small forward.

Portland is also shopping forward Noah Vonleh, league sources told The Athletic.

Though we’ve talked about the financial necessity of moving Vonleh or Ed Davis plenty here, this is the first public hint that Vonleh may be on the trade block.
