Greg Monroe is signing with the Boston Celtics. After being bought out by the Phoenix Suns and pursued by the New Orleans Pelicans, Monroe landed with the Celtics to chase wins (and money) over playing time, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Best known for his stint with the Detroit Pistons at the start of his career, the 27-year-old center appeared in 20 games for the Suns this season, averaging 11.3 points and 8.0 rebounds on 62.6% shooting in 23.3 minutes per.
