Early in the third quarter of Sunday evening’s game against the Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic left the game due to lower back soreness and right hip pain.

There didn’t appear to any indication of an issue coming into the game nor was there an obvious time where he may have sustained the injury in live action. However, Nurkic was 0-4 from the field with three rebounds and three personal fouls in thirteen-plus minutes of action.

Nurkic is averaging 14.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 53 games for the Blazers this season.
