Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts held a brief but tense post-game press conference following the team’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night. Stotts is known for his generally positive attitude, but the team’s 1-6 record in the past seven games clearly weighed on him:
“This game was very similar to the last few we played. We get off to a slow start, get down at halftime, make a good comeback, and fall short. And I think we’re all getting tired of it.”
Stotts did applaud his team’s second-half effort against Dallas, but that was necessary after the team’s disappointing first half.
Portland gets a chance to change their losing direction Thursday against the Phoenix Suns.
