CJ McCollum endured another rough shooting night during the Trail Blazers’ loss to the Warriors on Saturday. After going 0-5 on his three-point attempts, McCollum’s three-point percentage sunk to 25.7 percent in the month of December. Despite his struggles, McCollum is focused on staying confident during this streak.
After Saturday’s defeat, McCollum spoke with The Athletic’s Jason Quick about his subpar shooting.
“Great shooters go through it,” McCollum said. “It’s part of the game. You just have to continue to stay confident and try to contribute in other areas and try to help your team as best as you can. Because Klay’s team needs him, and my team needs me.”
McCollum will get another shot to turn things around when the Blazers face the 76ers on Sunday.
