There is no rest for the Trail Blazers even on a non-game day. According to NBC Sports Northwest’s Peter Socotch, reserve big men Meyers Leonard and Caleb Swanigan got tangled up in practice.
.@MeyersLeonard11 got clobbered in the mouth by Caleb Swanigan at practice today, leaving a gnarly gash in the corner of his mouth. It will require stitches. Meyers is currently still out shooting, though.

This isn’t uncharted territory for Swanigan. A similar blow from the big fella broke teammate Zach Collins’ nose prior to the 2018 Las Vegas Summer League.
The newly-stitched Leonard and the Blazers will return to action on Monday to face the Clippers in Los Angeles.
