The Portland Trail Blazers were part of a new Nike jersey unveil Wednesday, with each team that made last year’s NBA Playoffs getting a new “Earned Edition” jersey. Portland’s isn’t quite new, rather an all-red variation of their primarily black and gray “City Edition” jerseys:

Blazers reporter Casey Holdahl relayed that the team will not wear the jersey on Christmas Day against the Utah Jazz, opting to hold off until Dec. 29 against the Golden State Warriors to debut them:
Utah’s “Earned” jersey is all green, Portland’s is all red, and since that’s real tough in the colorblind, Blazers aren’t wearing theirs until a few days after Christmas.

Per the Nike press release:
The new looks, which are variations of each team’s Statement or City Edition uniforms, aim to supply fans with a tangible claim to both their team’s heritage and current success streak.
