Portland Trail Blazers guard Nik Stauskas left Sunday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after a collision late in the third period which resulted in an injury the Blazers are terming a quad contusion (bruise). The video below shows Stauskas driving hard to the rim, appearing to make contact with ‘Wolves center Gorgui Dieng deep in the lane. Both players went down. Stauskas exited afterwards.

The Blazers announced soon afterwards that Stauskas would not return to the contest.
