Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers each broke franchise records for three-pointers in Wednesday night’s contest versus the Orlando Magic. Lillard knocked down 10 triples, eclipsing the former mark of 9 which he co-held with Nicolas Batum. Three-pointers accounted for nearly 3⁄4 of Lillard’s 41-point total in the 115-112 win.
The Blazers also tied a team record for three-pointers in a half with 12. That standard was first achieved by Damon Stoudamire, Nick Van Exel, and the 2004-05 Trail Blazers in a 106-112 loss to the New Orleans Hornets on January 14th, 2005.
