Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic left tonight’s contest between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers with a shoulder contusion (bruise). The injury occurred in the first half. Nurkic did not return for the second half and has been declared out for the remainder of the evening.
This appears to be the play Nurkic got injured on... He goes up to block Tobias Harris, hits hand on backboard, grabs under his shoulder after the play. #ripcity pic.twitter.com/paoaHcwuFy

Nurkic went back to the locker room in the first half after what looked like an ankle sprain, but he returned to the bench later in the half. Still hasn't returned to the floor so far early in the third quarter.

It's a right shoulder contusion for Jusuf Nurkic, he will NOT return.

Nurkic is averaging 15.6 points and 10.5 rebounds in 25.9 minutes per game for the Blazers this season.
With a wry smile, Jusuf Nurkic saw Doc Rivers in the hallway afterward and said, “You got lucky.” Nurk missed the second half with injury.

‘@zcollins_33, without knowing the extent of @bosnianbeast27’s shoulder injury: “It’s going to suck without ‘Nurk.’ He has had a hell of a year. We just have to pick up the slack. It’s next guy up. We have to step up.”
