That’s exactly what’s about to happen according to former Portland Trail Blazers guard Jarrett Jack. Well known for his connections to star NBA players, Jack teased a super-union of the league’s best today on Twitter.

James currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, the presumptive destination of the Almighty Trio. Durant enters an option year on his contract next summer, Davis the summer after. Davis’ uncertain future with the New Orleans Pelicans has spurred trade talks. If the Lakers signed Durant with cap space next summer, then moved young players for Davis, the nightmare scenario could become reality.
