The argument in question was likely triggered by the play that occurred at the end of regulation. Green committed a costly turnover after securing a defensive rebound with time expiring.

Frustrations boiled over on the bench, and continued after Golden State left the court. When questioned by his fellow teammates, Green apparently shifted the attention to Durant’s looming free agency.
The 2019 free agency period will feature several teams with an abundance of cap space. Durant can enter negotiations as an unrestricted free agent by declining his $31.5 million player option at the conclusion of this season.
