Jimmy Butler is being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in a package that includes Robert Covington, Dario Saric, and former Portland Trail Blazers guard Jerryd Bayless, according to multiple reports across NBA media.

Butler is scoring 21.3 points per game in 10 appearances for the Timberwolves this season after coming off the fourth consecutive NBA All-Star appearance of his career last year. He has been embroiled in contentious trade talks since before the season began.

Covington is a 6’9, 28-year-old small forward with defensive chops scoring 11.3 per game. Saric, 24, is a 6’10 power forward in his third year. He’s struggled this season after managing a decent year in 2017-18. The 30-year-old Bayless has not appeared for Philadelphia this season after suffering a knee sprain in early October.
