Blazers Praise Caleb Swanigan After Stepping Up Against Pacers

Caleb Swanigan impressed his Portland Trail Blazers teammates with his 11-point, 10-rebound effort against the Indiana Pacers on Monday. After the game, his temmates raved to Joe Freeman of The Oregonian:

”Big time, big time,” Evan Turner said of Swanigan’s performance. “He stayed ready, stayed focused, showed he’s a true professional. It talks about what type of person and player he is.”

Damian Lillard was confident when Swanigan’s name was called:

”When I heard Coach call his name, I knew he was going to go out there and be prepared,” Damian Lillard said. “He’s smart, he knows what’s going on. It didn’t surprise me.”
