Minnesota Timberwolves to Wear Prince-Colored Nike City Jerseys

With the advent of Nike-branded NBA uniforms in various flavors, leaks of brand-new jersey styles have become a commonplace occurrence. Most of us are jaded to them unless our team does something radical. Jaded or not, the Minnestota Timberwolves new City Edition have got to make you sit up and take notice.

The colors and styling of the jersey are...unique. The Ringer, who let loose the pics on Twitter, calls them an homage to Prince. Personally, I think they’re fantastic.

Portland Trail Blazers fans have long maintained that their teams have the best uniforms in the NBA. That may be true in a traditional, classic sense, but these ‘Wolves City jerseys certainly push the Blazers for the modern-day honor.
