A leg injury took Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic out of tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls, in the midst of one of Portland’s biggest blowout wins of the season. The injury happened around the 3:25 mark of the third period with the Blazers ahead 88-67.
As the video shows, Nurkic was defending in the lane when he stepped awkwardly, appearing to hold the front of his leg, then heading for the bench immediately. He later exited to the locker room.
Update:
The injury has been reported as a quad contusion.
