The Milwaukee Bucks have parted ways with their head coach during his fourth season with the team.

The Milwaukee Bucks have fired head coach Jason Kidd, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.

Kidd went 139-152 as Milwaukee head coach, after coming to the team from the Brooklyn Nets. He played 19 seasons in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, New Jersey Nets and New York Knicks.

Assistant coach Joe Prunty will be the interim coach. Prunty was an assistant with the Portland Trail Blazers from 2008 to 2010.
