Marc Stein of the New York Times reports that the Portland Trail Blazers have tried to engage the Los Angeles Clippers in trade talks for All-Star center DeAndre Jordan. Milwaukee and Cleveland have also shown interest.

Jordan, who is currently sidelined with a left ankle sprain, is averaging 11.8 points and 14.9 rebounds for the Clippers, who have stayed in playoff contention despite the departure of perennial All-Star Chris Paul.
