NBA: Portland Trail Blazers at Oklahoma City Thunder Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA Northwest Division is one of the hottest, and most contested, in the league. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder picked up major stars over the summer. The Utah Jazz lost one of theirs. The Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers are hoping to ride young centers to prosperity. How will it all shake out? Today Dustin and Sage from the Holy Backboard podcast join FANalysts Tara and Jo to preview the Northwest Division.

Find out what they think about the uber-competitive Northwest Division and all the newest arrivals like Jimmy Butler, Ricky Rubio, Paul Millsap and Paul George. What about the stars who are still here, like Karl Anthony Towns, Nicola Jokic, Rudy Gobert, and Russell Westbrook? How will they incorporate all the new pieces? How will Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic fare against them this season?

For each team they look at what are their strengths, how do you beat them, and what are the wildcard story lines? Along the way they remember what they got wrong and what they got right about last year’s predictions.

All this and more on the second annual Blazer’s Edge/Holy Backboard Northwest Division Preview!
